Reassure without interrupting.
The problem
A modal 'Saved!' dialog interrupts your flow, but no feedback at all leaves you anxious about losing work.
The solution
An inline status quietly cycles saving → saved without interruption.

How it works
- Edits are the input, and they should not each produce a dialog.
- Changes are debounced so a burst of typing becomes one save.
- An inline status shows “Saving…” at the control, without taking focus.
- The document is persisted in the background.
- The status settles to “Saved”, then gets out of the way.
