Multiplayer Cursors
Presence is felt through interpolated movement.
The problem
Without seeing collaborators' cursors, a shared space feels empty and you can't tell who is doing what.
The solution
Labelled peer cursors interpolate between packets so presence feels live, not robotic.

How it works
- The local pointer position is broadcast as discrete packets, not as a continuous stream.
- Peer positions arrive later and less often than the local cursor moves.
- Movement between packets is interpolated so remote cursors glide instead of jumping.
- Each cursor is drawn with a label so presence is attributable to a person.
- Cursors fade after inactivity so a still pointer does not clutter the canvas forever.
