Haptic Threshold
A tick at the threshold makes a value feel physical.
The problem
Dragging a slider or knob feels slippery when nothing marks the moment you cross a meaningful value.
The solution
Crossing each detent snaps the thumb and fires a visual (and haptic) pulse.

How it works
- The control's value is tracked continuously as it moves.
- Detent steps are the values that should feel physical.
- Crossing a detent is detected as an event, not only as a new number.
- The thumb snaps to that detent so the value lands cleanly.
- A visual pulse, and a haptic tick where the device supports it, confirms the crossing.
