The problem
A hard scroll stop gives no feedback — you can't tell if the list ended or the app froze.
The solution
Past the boundary, movement resists and springs back on release.

How it works
- Dragging past a scroll or drawer boundary is overscroll, not more content.
- The distance past the edge is the overshoot.
- A non-linear resistance makes further movement harder.
- Release ends the pull.
- The surface springs back to the edge instead of staying past it.
