Locked Action Shake
A small shake says “not yet” without interrupting the flow.
The problem
A disabled control that does nothing on hover or click leaves people guessing whether the UI is broken or the action is unavailable.
The solution
Hover or click while locked triggers a short shake that says the action isn’t available yet.

How it works
- The action is locked because its conditions are not met yet.
- Hover or click is still accepted as an attempt, not ignored.
- A short shake plays on the control.
- Focus and the surrounding flow stay put; there is no modal to dismiss.
- The action unlocks later, when the conditions are actually met.
