Hidden Until Found
Closed content should still be findable.
The problem
If an accordion unmounts or display:none’s its answers, ⌘F can’t find them — and users assume the page doesn’t have the answer.
The solution
Closed answers use hidden="until-found" — findable, and they open on a match.
Experiment
How it works
- Closed content stays in the DOM, so it can still be searched.
- It is marked hidden="until-found", which hides it visually without removing it from find-in-page.
- The browser searches that hidden text along with the visible page.
- A match fires beforematch before the browser tries to scroll to it.
- The disclosure opens on that event so the match can be shown.
